Unit 6 : Creating Digital Graphics
For Unit 6, you are required to create 2 image products. One bitmap/raster graphic, using Adobe Photoshop. One vector graphic, using Adobe Illustrator.
Advertisement (Photoshop)
The raster image you are tasked with creating is a mobile phone advertisement.
User Guide (Illustrator)
The vector image tasked to you for creation is a User Guide for the same mobile phone. You can use a different phone if you want, but then you'll have to research multiple phones in order to get the relevant information.
Unit 10 : Database Development
Database (Access)
The Unit 10 assignment 1 was to design, develop and test a database for "Iechyd Surgery", a fictitious medical practice, using Microsoft's Access Databases application.
For developing the database, you are provided a spreadsheet containing data to use in the patient table. You would then import the data from the spreadsheet into the access database, in the form of a table.
Next, you would format the table fields to have appropriate datatypes and validation, as well as names and descriptions that fit what data the field represents.
The results should appear similar to this:
Appointment Table.
Appointment Form.
Missed Appointment by Date Report.
Missed Appointment by Date Query.
Doctor Table.
Doctor Form.
Patient Form.
Query Form.
Report Form.
Welcome Form.
Unit 12 : Software Development
Rock, Paper, Scissors/Rochambeau - Program (Visual Studio 2019)
For the software development task, you are told to create a simple game of 'Rock, Paper, Scissors' using Microsoft VisualBasic in VisualStudio 2019 using the .NET framework's "Windows Forms (WinForms) App" project template.
You are required to create at minimum two form windows, I chose to have one be the welcome or 'splash' screen and to have the other be for actually playing the game.
Welcome Screen Window.
Gameplay Window.
Unit 17
In Unit 17, you are given an assignment to make a Linear Product and an Interactive Product to advertise a musical artist of your choice. I chose to go with the band The Hives, as I like their music.
Linear Product (Video)
A Linear Product is something like a video that runs linearly from start to end.
Interactive Product (Website)
An Interactive Product is some form of software that you can interact with using buttons and other controls, like a website or application.
You can find my Interactive Product here.
Thank You.
